I'm looking for a good size mountain bike I'm 6'2 don't want anything fancy and can't spend much money. I'm looking to scout some spots that are a ways out down closed roads and since having knee surgery twice in the last year I just can't walk that far without paying for it the next day. Let me know what you guys have.
    Thanks
    Tyler

I got a Raleigh Talus from Bikes Plus on Creighton that I love to ride. Great components, large frame, big diameter wheels, excellent commuter. Wish the fork were a lil better dampened and will eventually put a more aggressive tire on, but has been wonderful for many miles.

I have a GT Zaskar 29'er. I bought it 2 yrs and due to a back injury the bike might have 15 miles on it. The only mark on it is a small tear on the seat. I can text pictures.

You can put off road style wheels on regular bike with gears , check frame size where tire sit on frame and go as wide a tire as will fit , upright handles and a more comfy seat for bumps , more upright will help back , changing tires should do it cheaply !
