Does anybody know where to find taller than stock sights for a kel tec sub 2000 gen 2? I like the folding option so I dont really want to put an optic on it. I talked with a buddy about making some but that might be a PITA. I would like to find a set about 1/2" taller.

I just use the Stock Sights and been pretty happy with them.

Other than this folding sight mount so you can still fold the the Sub2000 here >>> https://www.midwestindustriesinc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_ID=2564

I don't think there is much options out there. You can always throw some mapul sights on the top but forget folding so what's the point...

I have done alot of upgrades to my Gen2 9mm version in FDE. Installed the Heavy Brass Bolt, Heavy SUMO Bolt Handle, Trigger Spring Kit, Aluminum Trigger, and added the Single Point Mount.

I have also bought a few things from tandemkross but sent it all back there stuff seems to be under thought and crap.

This guy here has some nice stuff I highly recommend them... >>> http://www.mcarbo.com/kel-tec-sub-2000-accessories.aspx

I got the SUMO Handle here >>> http://twisted.industries/product/sub2000-operating-handle/

The heavy brass bolt I bought direct from Keltec.

I had to send the Sub2000 to keltec twice for very light suppressor baffle strikes. The second time they re-barreled it and put the new generation front sight with the jam nut on the end.

With all the upgrades this Sub2000 shoots very nice and is very very quiet with subsonic ammo. The heaver bolt and handle helps alot keeping the bolt locked up longer with the suppressor on.

It will never be like my MP5's and the Roller Lock blow back system but I have it pretty darn close.

Good Luck with what you choose...

Thanks that is good info. I do like the stock sights as far as sight picture and operation. But as stated they are just a little too low. I have found that if i cant the rifle to about 45 degrees it puts the sights almost inline with my eye so that works pretty well for now. What do you think about that red lion rotating fore end?

The Red Lion Fore End is pretty kool and a neat idea. If I still had my Gen 1 Sub2000 I would probably try it out. But with the Gen 2 I like the stock look so I would leave it alone and go with the Folding Sight Mount.
