Well I went to finger one at the LGS and they were running a special on them for $369 this weekend only. I bought 2. Zero self restraint...

Both of mine look like the FDE one. Does that mean it won't take the RAM? That sucks if that's the case

The ones I've seen with that frame haven't taken the RAM. That sear housing does have a more pronounced reset than the original design. It's easy to pull the housing to confirm.

Man I'm really bummed those guns won't take the RAM. What will APEX kit do for me? Which would you guys recommend?

The DCAEK will still smooth out the trigger and reduce pull/reset. All the RAM does is give you a much more tactile and audible reset. By itself it doesn't do anything for the pull or improve the distance to reset.

Fupa, I had Nate install the DCEAK in a a full size M&P 9 and the trigger is smoother and somewhat shorter than stock. Not as hard reset as the Glock but better than stock.

How hard is it to install these triggers you guys are speaking of? Just say in a full size M&P9 and a Shield.
