They're now saying only one person should have been there doing operations.

I heard the NOS (nitrous oxide) exploded, and 2 didn't make it. Now whether this is true, I do not know. But the person who told me lives within 3/4 mile from the plant, and said a person in the know, told them what happened. Take it as a grain of salt for now, but seems feasible.

CANTONMENT, Fla. (WEAR) - UPDATE: State investigators have confirmed they recovered the remains of at least one victim thirty minutes ago at the Airgas facility.
The explosion happened at the Airgas facility located at the Ascend Performance Materials plant in Cantonment. According to investigators on the scene, the area looks like "a mini war zone." They added, "nitrous oxide was leaking in a 500-feet-by-500-feet area, but evaporated before it left the plant."

Mike Weaver, the Escambia County public safety director, said law enforcement, including K9s, are searching the area impacted, as well as outside the perimeter, for debris. He added the cause is still not known.

I had heard fire/ems say there was only one guy scheduled working at Airgas. Praying for the family.

The young man that was killed is the nephew of a family that are members of my church. This is on top of a multitude of other issues the family is facing, so prayers are most definitely appreciated.

Well also have family members working there, we all send prayers to the family of the deceased. Such a tragedy here in our town. Thanks Dante for getting the title cleared up. At the time there were no media reports and all we could go by was direction of the blast..
