It's time to dust off those pistols and get ready for the next event at Bullets and Bones!!!

Saturday, September 3, we will begin shooting at 0900 and end the day around 1530. We will again be shooting the Glock-style match with it's 3 courses of fire. Recommended round count for Division 1 is 100. Division 2 count is 70. Revolvers around 66 rounds. Women's scores will be broken out of Division 1 for their own division. **On a quick note, we are exploring the possibility of becoming a sanctioned steel challenge range. But to make this happen we will need help with the RO positions. Please let me know your thoughts!! :thumb:

Im all in for a sanctioned steel challenge set up. There would be alot of details that would need to be discussed. I think the subject may be deserving of its own thread Spitfire. Dates, targets, stands, fees, we all know need to be ironed out.

Steel challenge is where i got my start in action pistol shooting and i think it is THE place to start a beginning shooter. Fast paced, fun, easy to score, easy to RO, easy to set up and tear down.

I will not have the usual extra scoresheets down at the range. Please get them all when you sign in or take a break and ride up to the office to get them. I'll be running the 5 to Glock stage and will be busy.

Just got back in, this was my first competition style match. It was great meeting everyone out there. All the RO's were great in showing me the ropes, being patient with me and even giving me some pointers. I had a great time and now I know what I need to work on and also get my equipment and gear up to speed. Highly recommend everyone try these matches out!
