My grandson would love to have them. He knows the minute details of every tank, truck, battle, weapon, location, generals, associated with this stuff.
I'll take it. PM me and I'll bring the cash/

How old is he if you don't mind me asking? Don't see many young people that even know what World War II was.

He is 16. He amazes anyone who talks to him about past American wars. He won the West Virginia "Golden Horsehoe" history award a couple years ago when they lived there.
He know the generals, ordinance, company names involved, individual battles and wars on both sides. He is a genius. I told him about the tanks and associated items for sale and his eyes lit up. He would love to have them and I would like to purchase them for him.
He wants to be a history professor when he graduates from college. And the best thing about it is that he a a very nice young man.

Well, he sounds like one of those bright kids that the rest of us are greatful to know still exist in future generations. You know, hope for the future and all that. If Maxfold still has them available, it's obvious you're the perfect buyer. Your grandson would be the exact person who should get them: young, appreciative, knowledgable, and he'd probably also enjoy the fact that they were made/collected by a veteran.

Best of luck to you and him. Let us know if he has interests in other wars. I'm sure many of us have memorabilia that we'd part with if we knew it was going to someone like him.
    Thanks for sharing this.
