My nephew sent his form 1 in for a sbr. He has a trust. His paperwork was sent back saying they needed a current photo. Does that sound right? Thanks in advance for any info

Current photo for what? The SBR he is building? I have heard of them wanting this sometimes... I have always added as much info as they need and more. Such as the HK UMP build. I had the USC changed to UMP and I put that on the form so they know it was stamped UMP.
I've heard of them requesting photos of the "firearm" before but not always. Not sure when they're required. It seems like the contact information that provide had usually led to an easy fix. (I.E. the person on the other end will help you out.)
I sent a photo when they presented a question about the "model" of the firearm according to the manufacturer since all I wrote for that was "AR-15" but those 5 characters were nowhere on my lower, so I had to engrave it on there.
Here is the section from the ATF eForms. I always put as much info you think they would need even adding my Trust Name because it will be stamped on the firearm. I have never had a Form 1 come back and I have done this a few times.
This Form 1 SBR was for this toy HK UMP .45 Very fun to shoot suppressed.
