Ok, so here is the 50 million dollar question. Should I get a trust before the 41f kicks in or will it matter?

Shouldn't matter. May just be motivation to keep the amount of people on the trust to a minimum. You don't wanna have to get photo ID and fingerprints from your cousin in Miami.

Yeah, seems like it'd be easiest to keep the group small if all members have to submit for every purchase by a member of the trust.

I was thinking about a four member trust, but the new rule has me thinking I'll keep it at two or three.

    What a pain!

Does not matter when you get your trust. What matters is when you file a Form 1 or 4 or whatever you are doing. I think Nate told me Silencer Shop will guarantee old rules if you order a suppressor before July 7th??? Like I said I just ordered two more and doing another Form 1 SBR Conversion. All before the cut off date.

So if you are a CCW holder under what circumstances could you be told no? What right does LE have to deny you your right?

Some are just assholes. Hoss Mack, the CLEO in Baldwin county, denies all of them no matter what. If you want an NFA item here you have to get a trust.

41F did away with the CLEO signature requirement for all entities. Only notification is required now as an individual.
