It's never too early to put it on the calendar. As some of you may have heard, beginning next year, the USPSA state match is moving to the Coast, and will be hosted on June 23-25th, 2017 at Coast Rifle & Pistol Club.
Some of the new and exciting things we are bringing to the match is online registration, as well as priority registration for Mississippi residents (this is your state match), and a truly challenging set of stages that will test a myriad of shooting, gun handling, and movement skills. We are also planning some new twists on the awards, which I thought were really neat, as well as offering four different flexible schedules from full to half-days for competitors to choose from.

On top of that, we have several sponsors and prizes already lined up, some exciting things planned for both staff and competitors, and are planning some groundbreaking new things that we think will benefit shooters, such as having 5-time national champion Ben Stoeger in attendance to compete in the match, and then conduct a training class the following week using actual stages from the match. In addition to that, World Champion shooter Max Michel will be on hand conducting a training class during the match on a separate training bay, and then shoot on Sunday with his class as part of a multi-day training class. Both of those unique experiences are examples of some of the exciting things we're putting together, and there is much more to come.
