There certainly are a lot of indoctrination centers around but I still have faith in "Real Americans". For every drone you see in videos like that there still are kids being raised with common sense. The bigger problem that this brainwashing creates is a division, and we see that even right now. Watching the news you would think everyone between the ages of 17 and 30 are good little Marxist. I don't believe that and I don't see it. What we are experiencing, and it will get worse, is two diametrically opposite types of Americans. It goes beyond political parties. I hate to call it the "normal" people and the "immature, entitled" types but that's what it is. Until fairly recently there wasn't a really huge difference between Republicans and Democrats, I mean not the difference that exists nowadays. Today it's black and white, and I don't mean skin color. I don't see how the two groups can coexist though. It's unsustainable. Many people joke about suscession or dividing the country down the middle. In a way I wish we could. Let California and a few of those states be their own country and let all of these Southern states and the Midwest do their thing. Problem is we would have to support the other half. As we all know Socialism works okay till you run out of the Capitalists money. It would be people like us all having to support the drunk, lazy, unemployed brother in laws.

I think the kids and young adults these days are a total disgrace for the most part.
There has been talk of us instructors in TRADOC (Training command Army) of having to remove our combat patches and decorations off our daily uniform due to the recruits not "feeling like they are part of a team". They now issue "unit" patches in basic training for them to feel like they are part of the team. This shit is getting bat shit crazy anymore......

I agree 200%..... I will NOT remove mine. Too much blood, sweat and tears involved. If they want to be a part of the team, then they can go fight and hump gear through the desert and mountains in iraq and Afghanistan. Ive earned everything I wear on my uniform and will not be dictated by a bunch of "boots" as to what I can display......to hell with that.

The combat patch argument is the dumbest thing ever..... Have one try and take a combat patch from a soldier.... Sad that the leadership is conforming to the young and unexperienced vs the other way around.... Toxic leadership.

They just revamped the system of promotion points once again. They took away points for deployments. It seems they dont want experienced NCO's anymore. They would rather place more emphasis on college than actual real world experience.
However they are toying with the idea of re-instating drill sergeants in AIT, as they have just been filled by a "platoon sergeant"......they have finally admitted to themselves that milennials are undisciplined.....as we have been saying for years now.....

The problem with any kids like that is their parents. Parents who fail to discipline their kids and teach them that it takes hard work to make a good living are at fault. I am raising two boys that understand discipline and the rewards of hard work, I pray that they will pass the same values onto their kids.

Crap like that is coming down from the generals who've been placed in charge because of their dedication to social justice and other left wing causes. These are the generals and admirals who agree with 0bama that climate change is the biggest threat our military faces in the world. And these generals are promoting people to their ranks. And they are promoting the full birds and so on. When I left the Army I was starting to the think this thought process had made it's way into the SgtMaj levels, which will then trickle down to the 1SG... And then we're screwed.
Exactly. They are going to accept, tolerate, and promote what society rejects until they have the compliant force they need to carry out there agenda. There was this little dude in Germany back in the late 30's and early 40's that did the same thing. Take a good look at what he surrounded himself with. 99% were loyal unto death because he accepted them and their deviant natures, protected, and promoted them. Consider that, and ask your self again if American troops would ever act against citizens who don't accept, tolerate, or celebrate what they do. My personal belief is that we now have a good number in the ranks that would not question any order given by their benefactors.
Unfortunately, I've been watching the same trend gradually occur over time. You absolutely wouldn't believe some of the stories I've seen first hand. Many of the newest generation are very different from our past military members. They are physically and mentally weak, terrible workers, don't want to work, complainers using protected status loop holes to get their way and persecute those who disagree with them. These kids are well educated and clever. And it's working for them. It's happening exactly like you said. People who don't cater to them, run the high risk of UCMJ. And now days, that means carreer killer. Tremendous amount of resources wasted on these complaint processes. Fortunately, I estimate that 95% of the new kids are not like this and are good; however, that percentage is dropping extremely fast each year. It is undermining the core values that our military forefathers established, and which made our military the best in the world. I have seen no trend, no actions and no policies that is working to counter this movement.

The character of our spawn is the the result of dominating exposure and their responding judgement. Parent(s) can only groom (good or bad) them until they claim their independence. I do think there is a large population of bad apples then past generations and the barrel is spoiling at a faster rate. Like any crop, it may be labeled unfit and take the good with the bad.
We are even making weapons systems that no longer require hunters and shooters to operate successfully. Technology is giving us systems that require you to put a cursor on a target and push a button, some even walk you through corrective step to make sure you get a first round hit. All good stuff, but IMO, when you take the personal nature and skill out of killing and destruction, it's a whole lot easier for some misinformed beta male, angry LGBT, etc. to just carry the out orders of their protectors, and they need no real skill to do so when the system/sight does everything to get you on target, but fire the weapon. Factor in that being "mean", i.e. doesn't think like them, is some kind of crime against humanity in their mind, and I don't see the betas having a problem acting against Patriots; Constitution/laws be damned. It's all about what's right to them for the moment, not what's morally/legally right.
