Glad to hear about the shorter ranges. Was planning on buying a 1-4or 1-6 but didn't really want one except to use at this match so I decided I'd use my older rifle with the strike fire.

That means you need to come out and shoot an IDPA or USPSA match beforehand, so you know what to expect.

I have quit telling myself I'm going to try and get started on trying those. I rarely have a full Saturday off and when I do I really like to get out with the family and hang with my kids. I had to request the day off for this match.

Typing that just made me remember to log into my calendar and make sure the day off was put in and I just saw that this match is on a Sunday? That's cool! I thought it was a Saturday, so I don't have to use a vacation day. Nice!

Really? Those might be a possibility in the future. Unfortunately with Sunday being my only guaranteed day off I usually have a heap of yard work and a case of beer to drink.

Stages:
This is a standard USPSA target:
The scoring is time plus, which means total time plus any penalties you may incur. Penalties can come from not neutralizing targets or hitting the white non-threats.
To neutralize a target, you must have at least 1 hole in either the A or B zone OR 2 holes anywhere on the target.
