I just got my Rock Island .22 TCM/9mm single stack combo today and realized that both barrels are ramped. Does anyone own the double stack combo and if so, are those barrels ramped? From all of the takedown pics I've seen, the barrels all seem to be non-ramped. Don't get me wrong, ramped barrels for smaller calibers is better, but I wasn't expecting it. I can't wait to get it to the range and kill some targets.

If I remember correctly; early versions of that combo had feed issues, especially with the .22 TCM. That may have caused a change to the ramp to address.

After more research, I found that the ramped barrels are an upgrade to the original non-ramped barrels due to feeding issues. All newer .22 TCM Rocks are sold with ramped barrels.

Is not 22tcm a bottle neck cartridge?

Yes it is. It is basically a 223 case cut about 1/4" down and re-necked back to 223. There are some who claim to be making .22 TCM cases this way, but I think there is more to it than this.
