Stopped in one there a few yrs ago...it was kinda small but nice to get out. Hope you all find some deals there...last weeks P-cola's was a bust IMHO...
First time for me at the Robertsdale show yesterday.
Can't put my finger on why, but it seemed better than the Pensacola or Milton show. Never made it to Mobile Fairgrounds show or the one at the Hadji Temple on Sheillenger.
Maybe it was the chat with the coin & gold guy that was there.
He had a bunch of big gold nuggets for sale along with other stuff and he let me hold one. Come to think of it, the fella at the Pensacola show with the Indian stuff is interesting to talk to also and episodes like that makes for a better experience for me.
Bought some .40 FMJ projectiles, a "almost" year correct sling for the International Harvester M1 and a set of 7.62x54R dies.
A beautiful day for a drive in the country and was entertained for my $7
I like that show for the diversity. At the P'cola show there is always Jay's and the guy from Marianna there. They take up a huge amount of space. They are never at the Robertsdale shows so more room for vendors and more importantly ... different vendors. Some come from the Biloxi area.
All in all, probably not better prices, the Fla guys cannot walk out with a pistol, but different faces, different people to talk to,and slightly different "stuff". I can say that I have found some different powders there in the past for for fairly cheap money. Some T/C Contendeder stuff also.
For me .... all in all .... it's worth the trip. --- SAWMAN
