Years ago eight of us booked a 15 passenger van and went to the state match in Tennessee. We had a blast and good memories of "the good ol days." Met some nice folk and got to use an old joke on one of the safety officers there.

We were standing around waiting for the targets to be pastered when the big guy told me how tired he was up all night chasing away a fox or coyote from his chicken coops with a shotgun while wearing his pajamas. I told him that I had had a similar experience just last week where I dreamed that I had shot an elephant in my pajamas and wondered how in the Hell that elephant had gotten in my pajamas !!! My friend Jay Gibson was standing there trying to hold back his guffaws while the big guy just looked at me with the blankest stare and it was so funny, but all we did was SMILE. Jay said he knew what was coming, but like a train wreck, he couldn't look away.
