Gray 34 is gettin redone with a lighter shade. I love em! My version of a Boba fett color scheme. Thanks Ron from TGD. 1911 junky

I hate to be negative, but isn't it a big no-no to put red or orange near the muzzle of a real gun? Something about it appearing as a toy?

If it's only a competition/range gun? I get the Boba Fett theme, he has the holster.

Sorry, you misspelled the name of our country and in doing show demonstrated that you, sir, are actually a Star Trek fan. The proper spelling of our country's name, as any red blooded Star War's fan knows, is 'Merica.

May the Force be with you.

The red front might be a legal issue. Also I wonder if it will make the front sight harder to pick up. Have you noticed any difference in your ability to pick up the front sight?

While toy guns may be required to have orange tips in some jurisdictions, the opposite is not true for real firearms. There's no legal precedent or legislation that I'm aware of, preventing firearms from appearing toy-like. If that were the case, pink, Tiffany blue, or hello kitty guns would not be legal. IMO, you, Sir are within your right to paint your pistol any way you please. Even if it's a little dorky.

Any franchise that can survive Jar Jar Binks has to be the real deal.

Actually, a lot of the younger gang bangers are painting their guns with an orange tip. It gives them a split second advantage, where the LEO thinks he is just carrying a toy and has to think about it before shooting the lil thug.

The term deceptive concelment is being applied to firearms that have been altered with coatings to resemble toy firearms. Only a few of the anti gun states are persuing this. It is also recommended as a mitigating factor to enhance criminal penalties.

Most political debate has focused on user owned painted handguns but factory production "colored" firearms and stocks are also getting negative press and anti-gun attention.

Among other firearm charges two people were charged with defacing firearm serial numbers because they were painted over. No details if they were just coated or filled to the point of illegability.
