Got my check in the mail 2 weeks ago and I just bought a new one from grafs for 350 dollars shipped. I really liked the eotech but the one I returned had problems.

What about an eotec says for LEO only on the side but has no serial # or model sticker look like a 512? are there clone with the LEO statement on the side? other tells?

Yes on the knock offs, got one myself, with my bad eyes I see no problems with it yet :roll:

Well it looks great I have to say that,I was disappointed as I was going to turn it in for the recall but no stickers!

One if the easier way to tell if its a knockoff is the reticle. As weird as it sounds due to it being holographic, if the reticle looks really crisp and sharp its probably a knockoff. The real ones are a little fuzzy and look like a million dots make up the reticle.

easier way to tell if its a knockoff is the reticle, if it has 2 color reticle, almost to be a knockoff

I have a knock off Trijicon ACOG .223 and you can't tell the difference other it does not have the tritium in it other than that works well.

Easiest way I tell, say for instance the thing wont turn on (dead batteries, etc) is the large screw will bisect the "LEO/mil only print." A fake, the screw will be completely below the print.

Thanks guys, the screw is below the print, the reticle is very bright and it is a red green reticle, that and no stickers on the bottom tells me it is a clone.

I'm not sure what a class representative , but I was milk monitor for a few weeks in 3rd grade?

You guys will love this....attempted to submit my RMA request on EOTECH's website and any time I typed the word "refund" or a "$" in the description section, the submit button disappeared! WTF?!?! I just used another word for refund and spelled out dollars instead. Was able to submit. We'll see...

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I bought another used EOtech at a killer price and gave L3 the serial # and I can't believe they sent me a $50 check today... That made that a very good buy

Oh and they sent a couple of Vouchers of $22.50 each towards something from there site at eotechgear.com.

It's the Eotech I have on my 10.5" AR

I never sent my 512 in for the refund. I'm assuming it's too late? Meant to do it but with getting married, honeymoon, switching career's, selling a house, buying a house and moving to 2 different states, (can you tell life has been a little chaotic?) I forgot. Haha. Would love to sell it and get an Aimpoint or Vortex as a stopgap. It's on an AR and I've had it for about 5 years so it's definitely affected. If not, no big deal.

I think you are still good to go. Fill out the form and see if you get an auth back to ship to them for a refund...

From what I'm reading, I'm too late to get the full refund but they'll now give me a $22.50 or $50 check? Kinda confused on this. Mine was built in 2012 so I know it's definitely affected. So maybe I'm SOL?
