All you really need to know is it is Vicker's approved. Now go get one.
I like it a lot. built in clear lens caps, rounder dot, better lens for magnification, protected adjustment knobs. Well worth the price difference from T1. I got mine from Larue that comes with their QD mount. Because BUIS are useless if your lens are caked in mud and cant see your sights through it. Maybe Steven785(forum lurker) can chime in as he has one on his BCM.
Thanks Chris, my T-1 has the larue mount as well, I like it a lot. My DD has an H1 on a DD mount because it goes with it, but the T-2 would have the LT751 mount as well.
I have the T1 (like the T2, but the first few settings are dim for use with night vision). I did have to buy the Aimpoint riser so it would line up with my PVS-14. I've had it a few years. No problems with it; still on original battery. My astigmatism is getting worse, so the red dot does have some "streaks" in my vision, but I still use it. Have used it on a variety of rifles; it currently sits on my .22lr SBR AR upper. Grand kids like it, as they simply put the dot on the target and shoot. Mine has the standard screw mount that came with it. Nice and small and lightweight.
