Just ordered a brand new full size stainless 1911 with the accessory rail. What are your thoughts ? It felt GREAT, action was incredibly smooth. Pick it up next week, can't wait to shoot it.
I bought a SS one. Loved it. Offered crazy money for it at a range, sold it. Missed it and bought a Blue one. Same great performance! Entry level price, high end features. Fit, finish accuracy equal to a $1K 1911. All Steel! RELIABLE. Taurus firearms were rough decades ago. They still hit a few bumps with some of their products but no more then any other major Mfg.
My only prob was a rear sight screw came loose on first range trip with the Blue. Tightened, zeroed gun then reset with med locktite.
Mine ran great. I ended up selling it to a friend in need after only 300 rounds, but with WWB I could easily print 3.5" groups at 25 yards, standing offhand.
