Apparently not a gun free zone for at least one and maybe two shooters.

Reports now that students are being told to shelter in place. If I was a student there now sheltering in place I would be checking my CZ for holster fuzz just in case.

Watching Shepard Smith report on this on FOX News right now, might as well start the countdown for when he says something to the effect of "there's too many damn guns in the hands of Americans".

I feel the need to backtrack and apologize for a couple of my previous posts which may appear callous and insensitive. I too was once a 19yr old college student, and at that time was not a "gun person" who had a clue and accepted responsibility for my personal safety.

The loss of life of these young people truly hurts my heart.

I just heard an interview from the Admin and they said guns were not allowed and even campus cops are unarmed. The interview w the State Police earlier must have been quoting state law? And they did escort several legal gun owners to their cars as the students were being searched before they left on the buses. Obviously there is some question at this time.

I know this took place on the liberal anti-gun left coast of Oregon , and all that encompasses that sometimes derision on our S. AL and NW FL gun friendly forum, but again my heart grieves for theses victims.

However thought I just heard something about religion having something to do with the shooter's motives. If that is indeed the case than my grieving heart could turn into a quite angry one.

Now there is more to think on,, If there would have been legal CCW holders in there,, How would they spot an know one another , to keep more shootings from happening in the panic that is mentioned on the news from some of the students,, A serious thought to send message to new laws on this subject,, I D, or organized group CCW trained to know what to look out for and avoid to save lives.. ( It is proof,),Someone needs to be on school grounds armed an on alert.. Prayers for the familys that have loss in this,, But hopes of open minds to put better rules in place to help students feel safer while there to learn.. Look at this from the students point of view, Then as a parent. Thhen as a law maker, And of coarse the insurance companys in all of the above..

Reportedly, the shooter had everyone in the class lay on the ground - then stand up and state their religion...

I'm thinking my original suspicion that this is a Muslim might just be correct.

If so, I say ship all the followers of the psychopathic child molester back to their shit holes in the Middle East!

This incident just reaffirms my practice of concealed carry - even in "gun free zones"! Heck, I was packing a primary and a back-up while at the DMV this morning... No one died as a result of my actions...
