    YES!!!!

I finally got a decent amount of time behind a RMR on a Smith M&P9.

It's great!! I picked it up quickly and my Mom(keep the jokes respectable) who's a novice shooter, was able to keep the groups pretty small.

Now I'm going to have to modify all my holsters to accommodate the RMR.

I've always thought they would make for an awesome setup. Scared to try it, could get expensive if I just had to have one on all my handguns.

Absolutely a factor and definitely a reason I waited so long. But once you try it, is tough going back

I have an rmr-o6 mounted on my FN57 great combo. Most say you can't mount one on a 57 but I found a place that makes the mounting plate for the 57.

Nate, let me know when you're ready for a holster that can accommodate that sight...

Rtprthd, I've installed a Burris on a full sized XD and (to borrow a phrase from another member) it's almost like cheating!

I did the work myself. Removing the original sights was the hard part but YouTube was a great help as always!
I've seen a couple sights for sell on here lately and have been tempted but didn't "pull the trigger". These things are a bit pricey but we'll worth it! I'll buy at least one more in the next couple weeks.

For what its worth I like the Trijicon rmr 06 because it has 8 brightness adjustments plus if you hold the up and down adjustment buttons together for less than 3 seconds it adjusts the dot to whatever the light conditions are at the time. also the battery life is over a year if you happen to leave it on so the battery is really no concern.

The dots on handguns are good but they really shine on a short lightweight rifle. I have been shooting dots for over 20 years and own a few. I even mounted a Gilmore 2 MOA on my Dangerous Game X-Box gun I built for the grandkids. :)

My latest is a Trijicon RMR no battery job, very clean and light weight contrast auto adjust sight on an AR in 7.62x39, a very handy carbine with a New Frontier polymer lower.
