What will the city become when the fast food restaurants close down and the gun stores leave?

People will just flock to the the Cabelas in Lacey or Tualip to buy their guns and ammunition...

When will these idiots get it, punishing legal gun owners with stricter gun laws and taxes on guns and ammunition aren't going to reduce gun violence by those who already get their guns and ammo illegally. Damn some people are just plain stupid.

What a bunch of simpletons. All this will do is force those shops to move outside the city. It will create zero revenue.

For those that can't or wont move their business location they will close if people buy elsewhere. These are our choices as buyers but closing a store would be a win for the other side. I imagine all the garage FFLs would be taxed too. This needs defeated quick.

No one will have to move their businesses. This law is not lawful according to the states preemption gun laws. It will not stand for long.

    State preemption.

The state of Washington hereby fully occupies and preempts the entire field of firearms regulation within the boundaries of the state, including the registration, licensing, possession,
purchase, sale, acquisition, transfer, discharge, and transportation of firearms, or any other element relating to firearms or parts thereof, including ammunition and reloader components. Cities, towns, and counties or other municipalities may enact only those laws and ordinances relating to firearms that are specifically authorized by state law, as in RCW 9.41.300, and are consistent with this chapter. Such local ordinances shall have the same penalty as provided for by state law. Local laws and ordinances that are inconsistent with, more restrictive than, or exceed the requirements of state law shall not be enacted and are preempted and repealed, regardless of the nature of the code, charter, or home rule status of such city, town, county, or municipality.
