I shot my PA 10 today. First shot, didn't go off. Thought perhaps I had a bad primer, ejected the shell and next four rounds went off perfectly, had used a laser bore sighter found zero after four rounds. Fifth shot, nothing. Also stuck and had to mortar it to free it up. Upon inspection I see the following, a burr? The four ejected shells all had this gouge in casing. I believe the first shot didn't load all the way thus no ignition.

Going to take it to Copeland's tomorrow but just curious as to the experts and your thoughts, brand-new from PSA clearly I can send back but is this an easy fix with the Dremel and buffing out what appears to be a burr?

    Thanks Guys!

Thanks guys, I will be sending it back

I had to send mine back for same issue. Took about a months turn around. Psa knows about this issue yet they are still selling them with no QC. If they know they have thos issue with many, if not all of their 308 platforms, why dont they figure it out before sellimg them and them have the customer have to send it back to them. That shit pisses me off.

minor issue. not worth the shipping and wait time.

wrap a .308 case with a sandpaper (I'd use 400 grit). sand the burr down with strokes parallel to the feed ramp. go easy and take your time. change to finer sandpaper to even out and finish off with a buffing wheel on a dremel. I would not use a dremel to remove the burr.

Got my upper back today, shipped it back on the 6th, arrived 8th and shipped back on the 21st. Not thrilled I had to ship it back, but happy they got it back to me in two weeks time. Apparently the barrel tolerances were too tight. Got a new BCG and affirmation that it's GTG. Ready to pop some piggies after checking it at the range.

Let us know if it's unfouled.

If doc is right and this is a known issue, on top of you paying shipping... That's kinda poor in my opinion.

I will let ya know. They provided UPS shipping label. It sucks, but didn't cost me anything but time and as Enforcement Firearms is also a UPS shipping location, it wasn't a big deal for me, but for others I'm sure it would be a pain in the ass. I agree, they could easily check this prior to shipping, even upon receipt of the barrels pre-assembly

Hopefully the individual who repaired it submits paperwork for an improvement process and in future they do check it.
