It will be a drive for you, but check out Escambia River Gun Club. Membership based club. You usually don't have to fight a crowd. escambiarivergunclub.org

Been using Styx River but it's not the crowed it's the sitting there pulling a trigger like a robot environment I dislike

I have always wondered why a group couldn't get together and lease a big clay pit like they do hunting clubs.

That's always been my dream Ridgerunner.
A OLD claypit with some trees here and there for shade.
A sanctuary to shoot in and sometimes ride my dirt bike in.

Use to ride a dirtbike in what is now the ERGC back in the early 70's.
September of 1978, things changed at that claypit.
Charlie Gateswood gave me the heads-up about a club forming and first meeting was in a upstairs conference room above the Security offices in the east hall by Gayfers.

Became a Charter member that night.(#20).
That bit of info and a $1 (plus tax) will get you a large tea at McDonalds.

El Capitain Ron has an acre of Jeff Ates' dirt pit - maybe he'd let you shoot there... Just watch out for yourself when he starts doing the upside down one finger Glock handling routines.

The best place by far is oneshot's spread up in Jay.

Do you hunt at all. I love paying for my hunting club and being able to shoot how I want when I want at what I want. Not all hunting clubs allow shooting on the property. But plenty do. Maybe time to pick up another hobby that includes shooting to gain access to land to shoot on.

That's nothing compared to Jerry Miculek's "upside down-pinky-snubnosed revolver" 100 yard shot.
