Looking to possibly haveing a barrel blank finished in 223AI or maybe even go with a 30cal blank finished for a R700 action. Looking also for the barrel to be threaded.

    Thanks

    Im always willing to travel!!!

It's a nice leisurely 70 minute drive from my place. You go through the forest on Hwy 4, and there are a few lakes, at least one of which has a big picnic/ bbq day use area. We also saw some sort of historical saw mill. Let me know if you're going to do it, and I'll tell you were the Mig is.

223AI --> think carefully about the twist rate. Some go back to the 1:12. Personally I would do a 1:9 or 1:10 depending on what pressure levels you will be loading to.

I have a buddy that has a 223AI and he is coming fairly close to 22-250 ballistics with the 60gr bullets.

    IMO this,and the 30-30AI,is a couple of P.O.'s best. --- SAWMAN
