I have the perfect spot for when the season opens. It's right in my front yard. I came face to face with this momma the other day. Set out the game cam to see what I had around and garbage in the trash can was too much for her to resist last night! She brought the trash bag right over in front of the camera for the buffet line to begin for her little ones.

I just put the camera out last night. I was not expecting to get them around so quick. But the trash was just too enticing I guess. Kind of neat and scary all at the same time.

    That's pretty awesome.

We have a beautiful camping spot up in Idaho, it's on the flat of a cliff a few hundred yards right above Mesa falls. A few years ago we decided to take the wife's up there for a 4 day camp and on the morning of the 2nd day I got up at about 5am and was sitting near the fire and looked up and saw a juvenile sized grizzly staring at me from about 50yds. I was froze for like a minute just staring at me. Got up to grab a rifle and wake everybody else up and eventually he walked away just keeping a eye on us. Pretty cool experience but definitely king of eery.

Tellum, I live in West Mobile. Please tell me you're not anywhere near me. I've seen bears in Mt Vernon and Leroy, but not down here near the city.

While working out of Deadhorse Alaska, we had a big male grizzly broke into our man camp an raided the kitchen, he walked right by my door as I slept, could have been a bad scene. They ran him out an he did the same down the road, they took him to the [brooks range] an in about3-weeks he was back , they killed him that time, we had about 5 that roamed around deadhorse, you really had to be careful were you walked!! We encountered polar bears as well on the coast, bad dudes!!!!

I'm out in the Navarre area. We get them pretty regular this time of year when the woods start to thin out with their food. So they come to the garbage can buffet line.

That's why I've heard a lot of folks in the Navarre area keep their garbage can in their garage or shed!
