So this is just for fun obviously and might've already been done here.

What two weapons, primary(long gun) and secondary(pistol, knife, etc.), would you carry and why? Here's the catch. You can only choose from your current collection.

I'll start it. I would carry my AR15 as my primary, because it seems like almost everyone has one. This tells me that there'll be ammo and parts galore to scavenge or trade if need be. My secondary would be my ruger blackhawk. It's chambered in 45 acp and long cult. 45 is a popular caliber, so once again with the abundance. Also, revolvers seem to have less a chance of break or malfunction.

    So what would you carry?

Thompson SMG in 45 and Sig 220 also in 45.

Same ammo for both and plenty of punch.

10/22 and 1911. Both will kill and you can carry alot more .22 ammo. .22 WILL kill humans and up to deer sized critters

I also considered an AK. I wouldn't have to worry about replacement parts, because the sucker will never break. And ammo is everywhere for the thing. But I think 223/556 is more available by just a microscopic bit. Emphasis on microscopic.

Just stay in my shop, and wouldn't have to worry about having to carry them. Just have one in every corner. Just my 5 cents jj

Have you seen dawn of the dead? The gun shop owner ran out of MRE's and ended up dying lol. Not trying to be a jerk, just playing the devil's advocate for fun/arguments sake lol.

Glock 19, folding stock AKM variant. Picked for their reliability and availability of parts, ammo and mags. With the folder AK, would also be a compact / maneuverable setup.

SKS and PT92 if I have to pick out of what I own, with the 20 stripper clips for the sks and the 4 extra mags for the 92 all in a mag pouch.

T/C Encore side folder in .30-06 for picking off folks carrying AKs and a spare 7.62x39 barrel to shoot the ammo.
T/C Contender pistol in .223 with extra 22lr barrel cause not everyone will be toting an AK.
One supressor that fits them all...
