Like I said, he had just got out to hog hunt and his property so he did not want to mess up his hunt...I would have killed him, but i was not the gunner.
The yote behavior was remarkable and says alot about learning them better.
Great vid although I really cannot relate to it. I have never been hunting deer and NOT shot a yote or hog(actually I'd RATHER shoot a hog). I have never been hog hunting and NOT shot a yote either.
To each their own, however ......... no whineing about the hog or coyote problems that you may have. AS far as I am concerned ... I got a deer problem. This time of year they seem to eat all my hog bait. DAMN !! --- SAWMAN
Well, for one, as a hunter it is always interesting and informative as to what animals do when they do not know you are there...much more going on than a coyote taking a shit in the video.
Was just gonna say that --> from the yotes behavior,it has been my expierance that the yote has either seen the hunter, smelled the hunter,or otherwise just "feels" that something aint right.
I have hunted them in the snow and after the calling session walked over to observe all their movements in the snow. The bark is the "I know you're there" signal. --- SAWMAN
Seemed too me your friend was debating on hammering him at least 90 percent of the video. If it was me I'd have another ornament hanging from my coyote tree!
Yeah he has come a long way. LWRC, Armasight and now Vortex are all Sponsors and send him their top line gear. Todd is still Todd, just as nice and down to earth as you can imagine. 23yrs a LEO, by day and hunting his whole life at night and on weekends. We thought we lost him when he recently got married then had his first child, slowed him down some but he still loves it.
