    After hearing earlier in the week that SIG is finally shipping the xxi Russian, I called David at The Gun Doctor. He confirmed the news, located one in-stock online, and I am now waiting on my ideal 7.62 rifle!!

    Will post thoughts and impressions after I receive it and stop most of the drooling. :tongue:

    It came in yesterday and I missed David's call, but luckily checked VM so I got the word. Picked it up this morning. Teaser pic, more on the review tomorrow....I was going straight to the range with it, but last night momma said; "Time to go buy the grand-babies some winter clothes." Gotta try and make her happy, especially with a new man toy just in! LOL

    Okay, we have been patiently waiting . . . . . Did you previously own a Gen I or II so you would have a basis for comparison or is this an all new acquisition? I have a Gen II, so I am more than a little curious.
