Will post up, need to go back through the other thread to see who rogered up. anyone that's changed their minds please let me know ASAP.

We're looking at a 0800 show for 0900 go. Will take a brake for lunch 1130ish for about an hour. Bring what you want food wise. In Jay there's a couple of diners and a subway for all your food needs. Everyone will get to run the course once. May have some extra time at the end of the day to run the course again. We're looking at cutting the length of the course to get some more guys through.

This is an INTRO. This is a chance for guys who don't do this much to try it out. There's a steep learning curve for this stuff. You'll figure out what does or doesn't work pretty fast.

GEAR:

Rifle
Shotgun
Pistol

4 rifle mags
3-5 pistol mags (if you've got 17rders you won't need as many mags)

Sling for rifle
Holster for pistol

mag holders (whatever you want to here, belt, chest rig, duct tape etc)

Eye and Ear pro.

5 slugs for shotgun
50rds for rifle
50rds for pistol

Any other gear you want to use.

If you need gear, there should be plenty around to borrow/try out. Firearms will be available to borrow to run the course. If you're bringing something besides an AR, glock, M&P, 1911, and need some extra gear. Let us kno
If you don't have ammo, we'll have some to buy.

Slugs $1 each
223/556 $16 for 50
9mm $12 for 50
45 $20 for 50

**Can bring some different calibers if needed

Want to think the guys that came up and helped get things together today, tried the course, one of the guy(Shawn) ran the course to see how long it would take and to see if need a little tweeting. his time was about 6 min. taking it easy, I try it, want tell my time but we came up with a 5 min average , so it should not take more then 10 min per person , if every thing goes as it should. Should be a good time and learning what you can do and how you gear works under a little pressure. If you need direction's let me know. will shoot up a flair. Just my 5 cents.

Here's the list I've got going off the previous thread. We're looking for 12 shooters but we don't have commitments so going down the line, the first 12 that roger up will be shooting. others are welcome to swing by and check it out. Forgive any misspellings/abbreviations on the screen names

If you're above the XXXXX line you've got a spot if you want to come. If not, you may have a spot depending on who rogers up. This is a culmination of multiple threads. If you've got a special arrangement with JJ to participate, that's between you two.

I don't think the AR pistol will work , you will be shooting from 15 yds to 75 yds starting out from about 40 yds. and you can't hit the steel with the 5.56 jj

Confused here now....why can't you hit the steel with 5.56? Isn't that what round is used mostly in these competitions?
