Anyone interested in making a monthly brunch somewhere good?

Choose a different place every month. A Saturday or Sunday one time a month.

Meet places like LuLu's in OB, Ollie's in Milton or on 9 Mile.

I couldn't do a brunch, my day job gets me home at around 2 AM.
But, I am in the planning stages of my home -based business, and it (my business) might be able to host a cookout, once a month. And, I have a shooting range. More information will be coming soon.

Ok, I know "brunch" sounded a bit .............. effeminate to some. What I meant was like a Sat or Sun get together around the middle part of the day. Eat and BS session. Go to decent places.

I know its hard to schedule something that fits with everyone's life plus.driving distances. Personally, I don't have a problem with going to Destin or Mobile or the Eastern shore area or down to the Key once a month.

Just an idea. I may plan something for next month and post.

Maybe since it's starting to get chilly an occasional cook out!

seems like things are hard to plan with a bunch of folks involved, kind of have to build it and hope they come.

I am all for this idea. What is needed is for someone to come to a conclusion as to where to meet. Usually, you try to pick a place that is centrally located in order to accomodate everyone. Then post the information (place, date, and time) for all to see. Those that will show up will confirm by adding their name to a list on the initial post. This gives the organizer a good number of participants so that they can relay the seating needs for the group to the restaraunt staff. I have done this with our MINI club.

All good ideas. Yeah Belle, a cookout would be perfect, especially later in the day. That way no one can whine that it cuts into range time.

Like James said, my original idea was a central restaurant and we could make reservations.

More later, gonna go over to the other thread where I brought up a cookout.
