Called Mr. Hamlin today, but he was out. Anyone have any idea of the turnaround time?
Great! He works FAST... When we spoke it was a few weeks if I recall but the bulk of the paperwork he will email you to complete. You send it back and voilà! Trust in a jiffy.
Two kinds of trust - individual and generational....Generational is good for 300 years and you can pass your NFA items on without those folks having to apply and pay for another stamp...just a thought
The secretary said anywhere from a couple of days, to rarely, but potentially, a couple of weeks, depending on Mr Hamlin's court schedule. Regardless, I have a quote from the manufacturer, Nate is sending his info, and they're ready to build it as soon as I can gather enough coins from between the sofa cushions. I don't want any step to have to wait on another step, so I'm turning all the wheels at the same time to try and streamline the process.Keep us up to date as to how long it takes??
Just got my trust. Now it just needs to be notarized and it's good to go.
That was easy!
My only regret is not doing it sooner.
