Has anyone submitted a form 1 or 4 with the trust from mr hamlin? I have some questions that I'm confused about.

Called Mr. Hamlin today, but he was out. Anyone have any idea of the turnaround time?

He works FAST... When we spoke it was a few weeks if I recall but the bulk of the paperwork he will email you to complete. You send it back and voilà! Trust in a jiffy.

Ok, so once he writes it up, and you notarize it, can you go use it immediately or does some government entity have to recognize it or approve it somehow?

Sorry for the hijack, I think this info helps us all though.

Thanks! In that case I'll get the funds ready. I'm sure my first purchase won't be much of a surprise, as both my 556 and 308 were ordered and built to mount and share this specific suppressor.

Two kinds of trust - individual and generational....Generational is good for 300 years and you can pass your NFA items on without those folks having to apply and pay for another stamp...just a thought

Keep us up to date as to how long it takes??
The secretary said anywhere from a couple of days, to rarely, but potentially, a couple of weeks, depending on Mr Hamlin's court schedule. Regardless, I have a quote from the manufacturer, Nate is sending his info, and they're ready to build it as soon as I can gather enough coins from between the sofa cushions. I don't want any step to have to wait on another step, so I'm turning all the wheels at the same time to try and streamline the process.

Just got my trust. Now it just needs to be notarized and it's good to go.
    That was easy!
My only regret is not doing it sooner.
