there seems to be a lot of interest in shooting IDPA matches in this forum. I would like to inform my fellow shooters about IDPA matches at Tristate Gun Club located in Daleville AL. very nice facility that hosts several shooting disciplines such as IDPA, USPSA/IPSC, Steel, High Power, Military bolt, Sporting clays to name a few. their website http://www.tristategunclub.org/dotnetnuke/Matches/tabid/53/Default.aspx. what is unique about their facility is their commitment to shooting sports. their SOs also officiate major matches so they are experienced, fair and balanced. 8 bays total which includes real cars and a shoot house with doors and windows. all bays can shoot simultaneously so there is no time wasted. usually 5-6 stages per match. match fee is $10 for all shooters member or non-member. first three volunteer to show up, match fee is waived. Match results announced after the match and prices are awarded.
