You guys that find guns do some research on the guns to make sure they haven't been used in any crimes right? Would suck to find a gun only to discover in a bad way that it was used in a murder and now you're the prime suspect because it's in your possession!

found this one at a yard sale, imagine it was pulled out of the river while fishing. Can't really tell what it was, but it was nicely cut to that barrel length.

it wasn't accurate, so i'd like it back.............:eyebrows:

Evapo-rust works. Orielly auto parts sells it. I am curious how it would fare on something this far gone.

only thing you will find under it is more rust.

I deal with corrosion and rust daily. I gotta vote for Dan's comment. That's some deep rust. Even if you could clean it up to be recognizeable it'll be so compromised on strength and barrel condition it would be extremely dangerous to shoot. I think it would make a seriously cool wall art piece just like it is.
