Why'd you get the 1/7 barrel again and how lethal is 5.56?

Killing time today, found some interesting stuff. Take it for whatever you want. It's only worth whatever stock you put into the poster/wrtiers of each. If you're an AR/5.56 guy, it's worth the read.

Intersting, So now my mini 14 would be better than my AR? Dang now something else to think about. You knoww I think sometimes a person can read to much. Oh well I'll never shoot those anyway.

I got the 1/9 twist because the most available cartridge was the 55grain. The looser twist would stabilize these less expensive more readily available bullets and I had no interest in hunting...at the time. Now, due to my growing interest in hunting, I've got the 6.8. BOOYAH!!! Winning!

My master blaster pistol in 7.5" is a 1/7 .223 wylde however, trying to get a tighter twist in a shorter barrel to get at least 1 revolution before the projectile leaves the muzzle.

So, I guess were lucky that it works too...

I do not own a .223 with a twist faster than 1/9". AR or bolt gun.
