Anyone have any experience with these on an EDC gun? Was thinking about picking up a set of the rubber ones for the Shield but was wondering how tacky they were. Do they cause the shirt to stick and ride up when carrying IWB?

not too sticky, adds no bulk to the gun, love em

although ive had both, the decal grip brand looks less lame to me than the talons (T logo kinda wack)

I carry everyday IWB in a hybrid, something tells me the stipple would also eat the shit out of my side.

Maybe, I've thought about that. Haven't carried the Glock yet. Looking for a holster. If it does irritate my love handles, I'll throw a hogue wrap on it. I did mine for the grip angle and grooves.

Cool thing about Talons is that they come off. Worth a try IMO.

I have a 19 RTF2 that I used to carry but it irritated my side so bad and tore up every shirt I wore, so its just a range toy now. Talk about an aggressive grip that thing is nasty

I picked up a set of rubber ones for my Shield as well and I love them. Carry it daily at least 8 hours a day and still stuck like the day I put them on. Highly recommend

I also have the rubbery ones on my Taurus TCP and my Kahr CW45. Carry the TCP in a pocket holster and the Kahr in an IWB holster. Grips are comfortable and functional on both pistols

I also like the talon sand paper type on the lower palm side of my smother grip guns. That gives me good grip but doesn't sand off my skin when carrying IWB.

I doubt there is anything out there with a more aggressive grip than an XDs. It will have you bleeding after a long day.

I started with a Crossbreed (it has now been modified for another pistol is why it looks stupid)
The XDs grip overhangs the leather like most IWB holsters.

I had David at H-R Custom Holsters make me one of his with extra leather to keep the grips off of my hide. I don't think it hinders my draw and it keeps sweat off of the pistol.

You can almost recognize the pistol from just looking at what it has done to the leather. I guess my love handle would look like that without the extra leather.

Pachmayr grip on my edc xds 45, my only issue is that the rubber does tend to grab shirts, but it's manageable.

Yeah those xds grips are like legos. I dont know though my G19 RTF2 has some nasty grip that will tear up your side. Just like Sandpaper.

Oh yeah and Dave is the man. He still making holsters? I need to get up with him

Made these out of some skateboard grip tape. Not pretty but they do the job
