    I want a long Slide 6 or 6.5 inch (not threaded) in 45APC. You can find 6 in in 10mm. With the high numbers of 1911 Mfgs, one needs to think outside the box.

    My 1911 firearms are my favorite to shoot simply due to the ergonomics and balance in my hand. They simply are easy to shoot and accurate as all get out. Actually one of my favorites is my Ruger SR1911-CMD with the 4.25" barrel. The commander sized seem to balance well in my hand.

    love to shoot mine as well, just hate to clean it properly, haha. Cleaning a stainless gun for someone who gets quite meticulous is a royal PITA! You cant halfway clean a stainless gun, all or nothing!

    I had the same problem with mine but I found if you clean it really well then apply frog lube it wipes off a lot easier next time.
