I bought a few cans of this guy, seemed like a decent enough fellow. uploadfromtaptalk1398305759472.jpg
I bought two of the small common size for 15 each or 2 for 25

What happened that ammo cans got so expensive ? I've noticed they have gone up lately.
I used to see them all the time for 3 bucks each.

Yep - IMO, we're seeing more fallout from the panics when anything related to guns and ammo went up in price.

That's like .22 prices. I looked around and his prices are cheaper than most on these cans.

That seems to be a decent price these days, I could not find any to order from distributers any cheaper. You want sticker shock, try grocery shopping, I felt like Rip Van Winkle, food is getting out of sight unless you catch a sale. I mean you can go without a brick of .22's but bread, meat, and milk etc are a must have in my house. It is really cheaper to eat out unless you really plan your meals right. I litterally got scared looking at some of the prices. Everything is getting more and more expensive, especially once they find out what you are willing to pay for certain items. Gas, electric, cable, cell phones, wow the list goes on. I am just glad I quit smoking and drinking, I don't even want to know what a night on the town cost these days.

You are right Dan, seems like everything doubled overnight.
If you want real sticker shock, go walk around a new car lot.
That's what I did just tonight. We are (or should I say WERE) thinking about buying my wife a new cross-over or small SUV.
    Anything she wanted was $40k+.

The problem now is how they are handled before auction,,,,
they're disassembled & stacked on a pallet with the opening facing outward to make sure there is no contraband hidden inside & the lids are thrown in the middle,,, then they are banded & shrinkwrapped,,, the metal packing bands tend to bend & deform 1/4 to 1/3 of all on the pallet so you either toss the bent ones or you pay someone to repair them,,,, either way it adds to the cost.
