Would love to work with a local dealer/gunsmith on this. This is I'm guessing a mid to late 50's model 39A lever action .22. It was handed down to my dad by his uncle when my dad turned 15 around 1955. Not sure how long his uncle had it before passing it on to my dad. So it's at LEAST a '55 model. Anyway, everything on it works until you get down to the last few rounds in the tube. Then, they fail to feed. I've been told it just need a new magazine spring. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys. John.

Awesome little rifles. My personal favorite in fact. Numrich is going to be your best bet though a Glenfield or model 60 spring can be modified to work pretty easily.

Just call me later in the week. I'm sure that tasks have been assigned by the wife that haven't been announced yet. Saturday afternoon may work. 850-982-5137.
