them m-22's, ain't they got waxed lead bullets and are standard velocity ??
i'm ask'n cause I was told they were and that's why I ain't went to get any......my
ruger's don't like them kinds.... no!!
Went to Barnes and Noble to get Sweeney's reloading book. Looked like a party over there. Radio station, jumpy castle thing. Place looked packed. Good to see job creation and economic success.
Still had bricks of CCI 500 rounds in stock for $49.99. All other brands are sold out. Thanks to Gander Mountain, a bunch of us now have plenty of .22LR to plink with!!!
Just $49.99 for a brick of 500? What a deal the Gander has. Seems like just a couple years ago a 550 pack was $15.97. I bought 1000 at Wally World a while back and it was $49.99. I am still a Gander Nay Sayer; have been since the 2008 price gouge. We just don't seem to have the capacity in this country anymore to resist big business. I've said it before, if you let them bullets sit on the shelf, the price will come down. Retailers cannot sit on product, they have to move it. Their livelyhood depends on it. We've all seen it before. I just don't get it.
After having been in there twice and seeing their prices, I am not a Gander Mountain fan. But, in their defense, if this is the CCI mini mags, that's not too far from what they should be selling for. 100 rounds at WalMart is $8 so $40 would be a good price. CCI is more expensive than Federal, Win, or Remington.
I'm just a plinker so I won't pay that but somebody might be glad to get it.
I figured they would of had reg. ammo on sale also, like .380/9 and so fourth.. NOPE, it was still 20 bucks +/- a box.. When academy has .380 for like 16.99 a box.. Or the cheap steel was I think 12.99 a box last week..
