Ok so I picked one of these survival guns and I'm tearing it down to do a complete restore. I know these are made of aluminum and steel but my question is anyone know what these are coated with it almost has the texture of my spray in bed liner. Before I strip it complete down I want to be able to put it back to as close to oem as I can.
    Thanks Edd

Mine seems like some kinda high temp paint. They've been made by a half dozen or so different companies in the past fifty years, so anything is possible.
