what was that last year?? will let you know, have bunches of them at the lease, shoot the mother and all the babies run back in to her.

Yes, just passed the 7th grade in fact and got my license all in one summer.

Sounds like a sad scene to see but you gotta do whatcha gotta do to get some bacon.

At the farm next to the lease the boss has miniature horses and 1 miniature donkey, she is about to foal, can't wait as her baby will be soo cute. Since it was bred to a miniature horse it will not be a donkey but will be an ass.

Aw, well what a sweet little ass I'm sure she'll be! Maybe one day I'll just pop in to meet her.

Sean they are loud, noisy but loving and protect the rest of the livestock. I always share a beer with her and some fresh grass...obviously my favorite. I have seen them from free to 700+

I have a buddy that has one (donkey). He doesn't go into honk mode.much but when he does he's E F Hutton. You better go see what he's yelling at. Usually a snake.

There is a jackass across the hollow from me. He honks all day and all night. I can hear him inside with the air running and he is about 500 yards away.

Probably like dogs and other animals. Each has their own personality. I know people with miniature Schnauzers that only exsist to bark their fool head off. I could count on both hands all the times my Jack barked in the years I had him.

OK, looked up the Sicilian miniatures, found this:

    http://www.valleystables-exotics.com/donkeys.html

Looks like starting price is $500 for a male and then it goes up. Probably the price difference is bucket seats, power windows, stuff like that.

Seriously though, their disposition sounds great. Interesting reading.

A few years ago we researched Alpacas. Those are pretty cool too.

Personally, if I were a rich man I would go elephant and giraffe. I REALLY want one of each of those.

They will eat anything in front of them, besides those are not my feral hogs those are someones farm pigs that got loose.

They're tasty is what they are! They probably wouldn't make it out of my yard alive and I'd probably have to buy a bigger freezer!
