I'm looking for a good tac light for a glock when in the woods late at night or even for that questionable bump in the night. Strobe and laser are a plus but not a must have. Looking to stay around $100-250.

    Thanks

TLR-1or TLR-1s...that's what we carry on patrol. Never have to worry about it falling off or not working...or u could just carry a flashlight ; )

Look at LApolicegear.com they were running some good sales awhile back.

Ok thanks for the input. I've been leaning towards the TLR's just have yet to narrow it down to which one.
    Thanks for the website.

Thanks again. As far as getting rid of the plastic guns, I think I will hold on to all my sissy guns that never!! Have any issues. : )

Oh, was feeling cheeky and making fun.
What's that movie where they say that?
Anyway, I've been carrying my own sissy plastic gun lately. Lol.

As far as lights, like anything else, don't go cheap, I did that for a while and they kept randomly dying. Not really worth the gamble. I like crimson trace products for the instinctive activation, I believe they have a light guard nowadays that'll go on your rail seamlessly. Good luck with the search.

Yes that's what it is because you bad talked sissy plastic gun when they were asking about tactical lights. Then you say hey look what I trust my life with a sissy plastic gun, that makes oh about zero cents.

Never gave a crimson trace a thought. If I don't find anything this weekend I'll probably try one of each (crimson, stream light). Thanks for all the inputs and side notes. : )

Polymer guns are great guns in my opinion, just as good as the all steel guns I think. I own a number of them and they performed well as carry gun to me. But I do respect those who dislike them, maybe it's just a matter of personal taste/preference why some people like them while others do not.

I was just being silly one night, but since we bring it back up, I like my polymer XDS45 just fine. However, if Wilson made or would customize a 3" gun , it'd be a different story, but they won't even touch them, so my only 3" alternative in a good single stack 45 happens to be polymer, and that's fine by me.

OP, did you ever find a light?
