Oh man just been wanting one forever and finally got the wife's approval. After countless hours or reading research and YouTube I finally pieced it together did everything myself and I would say to anyone wanting to convert Polish etc... its pretty easy. Ready to go test it after the conversion.

This is my personal Beretta 391 20ga Sporting gun that I restocked with one of my stock blanks. It has gone with me to Argentina 6 times. I am looking for the lady in Ft Walton Beach that did the checkering on the stock, she worked for Wind River Rifle Co before they moved. Anyone know whom she is?

Thanks, I bought three two piece blank sets all cut from the same stump. I sent this one to Show Me Gunstocks in MO as they were one of the few folks that will or would cut a 391 forend. they will also cut wood (semi inlet) for an LC Smith 20 or 410.

That is one of the nicest wood stocks I've ever seen. Reminds me of Koa wood.

When I saw the blanks come up for sale, I bought them all. Cole Gunsmithing in Maine, that does warranty and custom work on Berettas in the US, gets $2-3,000 for a select set like that. I have about $600 plus the elbow greese in the set. Counting the cost, partial inletting, buying a synthetic forend to get the metal tip. and the checkering. The fitting and finish was part of elbow greese.

New shotgun. The pink was significantly discounted compared to the green or black, and it's still a badass semi auto 12g in the end. Just a little funky hydro dip on it.

Well you did an awesome job! I wonder how that wood would look on a smaller scale, such as 1911 grips.

Been tempted to get a pump gun again, and recently ran accross a great deal on a Mossberg Mariner. Love the old school fore end! I am thinking about switching the butstock out to a speedfeed stock. Has anyone here used a speedfeed stock, and if so what was your impression of it?
