Put 200 rounds down the pipe of the 1911 and the Shield yesterday at the FOP range in an effort to get as good as Brant (fat chance). I have aspirations of shooting IDPA one day and don't want to totally embarrass myself. On the upside, since these were all conventional lubed loads with my homebrew, cleanup was easy and did not involve power tools or blasting.

Also had the good fortune to meet fellow member Ryan out shooting his G19 he traded from Brant. It's always good to meet the folks here and I hope to meet more.

Sorry I missed y'all. What time were you there? I decided to go around 6:00 to test some loads using X-Treme 9mm-124 gr. FP plated bullets. They functioned great in my Ruger SR9 and Hi-Point 995 carbine. It's amazing and not ashamed to say, what fun you can have with $300 guns.

ran some rounds through the chorno today. Working on a 40S&W load for the M&P40 Pro. I like what I see with 5.1 grains of Longshot.

    gendoc,I REALLY don't like it. I think it sucks !! What a POS !!

REALLY ---> yeah,I am intimately familiar with the JP guys(and gals). I have their parts hanging off of,and stuffed into about 6 of my weapons at this time. I had one of their first tank brakes on the end of a 24" AR in about 1989 or 1990. Another on the end of a FN/FAL in 2003. My inventory of their offerings has been growing over the years.

"Costly" ..... yep,so-so,however with the JP stuff you definitely get what you pay for. The hand guard on my 18" 6.8/Bison/AR is the JP brand. Ben at Bison swears by the JP stuff and that is quite a atta-boy for the company.

Anyway ..... great gun. Had the older Super Blackhawk several years back with the 7 1/2 inch bbl. Shot like a mo-fo. But ..... right now bet my Old Plastic Glock 20 will actually outshoot that Hawg Leg. I's my stand gun. It wears a Viridian green laser on the bottom rail.

Here's what we'll do --> come over to my club. We'll take turns in my ladder stand(15',extremely stable with shooting rest),I'll set a target out at 40yds and see what gun "takes the cake". Actually who buys the lunch special at the local diner. CHICKEN ??? --- SAWMAN
