If it dosen't work all I am out is a hammer. I wouldn't have done it except I read about diffrent people on here doing it . Maybe they had problems later and didn't post it.

True, hammers are easy to replace. The reason I always look at springs first is because they're consumable, and wear out, thus more likely to be the culprit in a malfunction.

Jp enterprises claim there low mass (bobbed) hammer will help ignition relability. It has a spring kit in it but it is not jp.

I guess all I can do is shoot it and see.

That might make it picky with primers though. Who knows? Try it out, if you need another hammer, I think I have a spare.

The Aimpoint PRO came in today while I was at the range with an old buddy of mine. BTW, we had a great time. Once I got the Aimpoint out of the box, it then went on the Colt LE6920 I recently picked up on a trade with Dante. Here it is.

    This now AR #28.

    Nice!
I started case prep on a batch of 223 cases. Adjusted the new Giraud tri-way trimmer and went to town. It's still tedious work.

Shot the rifle match this morning, and when I got home, I had the rest of the parts waiting for me to install on my new IDPA pistol, so I put everything on except for the sights (I'll have Ron do that Monday)
Kimber Custom Classic (no FP safety) refinished in black cerakote with extended mag release, S&A magwell, Wilson extended slide release, black diamondback grips, Pearce finger grooves, and green front / yellow rear TFOs.

As much as I like my carry 1911, being a lightweight, it's a little snappy for the fast follow up shooting. IDPA requires. It did feel good to shoot a 45 this morning though. This thing should be just right.

Went to look at a Marlin 30/30 with a BSA 3x9 scope in Holt for $300 and brought it home along with 2 1/2 box's of ammo of which 1 box is 160gr Hornady LEVERevolution, 1 is 150gr Monarch and 10 rounds of 150 gr Core-Lokt that he threw in. Tomorrow after school I'll see how well the grandsons are able to handle it and the Glenfield I already had by letting them shoot up the Monarch and some of my older ammo.

got some new grips, grip screws, grip tape, and a bunch of ammo. Got a galco king tut for my 1911 coming tomorrow but for fun carried my RO9 to walmart to try it out. Can't believe how nice a 1911 carries even with a magwell on the end. Going to buy a 4.25 45acp with an officer frame and that should carry really nice.

FINALLY received the 100 hornady XTP 140gr .357s I ordered sept 28th from PSA. I had to call twice and email once in order to get them to ship them. they dropped shipping and handling charges due to the retarded delay in shipping.

I got my Hi-Point JCP back from factory repair. It now smoothly loads and cycles all 10 rounds from both magazines. Say what you want about Hi-Point but they have one of the best, if not the best, warranty in the business. Six day turnaround from ship to them to receive by me and they didn't care if I was the original owner or the tenth owner.

Finally got around to mount the Pachmayr American Legend grips on my PT1911 - thanks madeSICC88. They may not be for the 1911 purists but I like them and they are comfortable.
