    Coat it.... Guardian Coating.

Maybe an engraving...: "any gun control is an infringement..."

    1973 Browning Belgium Hi Power

Picked up a Browning Hi-Power, made in 1973. The owner says he “Thinks” his brother only fired 1 magazine, put it in the case and never touched it again. I don’t see any marks myself. If I knew how to post pictures, I would.

Had a great time in a carbine course today. Little review of fundamentals and some great insight on some malfunction drills. Plenty of homework material to add to my practice time at the range.

Daezee and I met up at the property yesterday and Daezee shot his new AR to test some loads with it. Just shooting at 100 yards this time.

I shot my .223 Ruger American Ranch a little also.

Played around with the M11 SMG today was still having issues after getting the new upper from Lage Manufacturing and have had the trip out since just shooting it in Full Auto only.

Well after a few emails and phone calls with Richard Lage the Owner which he wanted me to send in the upper and they would make it right I did not want to give up and suggested that I would just remove some metal from the trip so the upper would not put pressure on it. The issue was that with the new upper it is such a tight tolerance it would push just so slightly on the trip in the lower and I would not be able to select from SEMI or SMG. I could remove the trip all together and all fine but would work in SMG mode only.

Well today I removed about .003 - .004 from the Trip and gave it a light polish and it works perfect now. I also bent the wire spring to be more out of the way of the trip. I thought it was to close and may also been causing issues.

I just want to say Richard Lage Owner at Lage Manufacturing, L.L.C. and there team are the best... Nice to talk to them on the phone and very helpful in every way.

Here are some pics of my trigger group with the work on the trip and the new M-11/9 Select Fire Competition Trigger they sent me for free.

I will be getting a backup Trip and Wire spring from Lage here shortly. Pretty much the only things not replaced well the Selector is original...

Loaded up some 45 Auto Rim cartridges to try out in my new to me S&W 625. Hope to shoot them today along with a bunch of loaded moon clips. This revolver has the sweetest trigger - I think I'm in love.

I've loaded 2K rounds of 9mm over the last 5 days, to replenish after I shot 1700ish rounds in 2 days in the Stoeger Skills and Drills class. I used up almost all of my 125gr bullets, so it looks like it's time to order some more. It probably wouldn't hurt to order more primers as well.

I just finished my latest "Polymer 80" Glock-Like pistol build in 9mm (was waiting for the slide parts kit). I used a Brownell's slide and Wilson Combat barrel. I hope to find the time to test fire it soon.
