Went to the National Shooting Matches in Fort Benning this weekend. Of course the nephew was not shooting until Monday and Tuesday but we got to spend some time with him and his parents. Got to watch my first rapid fire pistol match also. What a hoot. 25 meters, 4-6-or 8 seconds (depending on the stage of the match) to fire 5 shots into a 2" bulls eye on five different targets. It is amazing how many 10's (bulls eye) there were. All in all it was a most enjoyable weekend.

Moved my Bridgeport and upright air compressor into the shop building. Actually picked up and transported the big mill with my tractor using an eye bolt loop and double chain with the root rake. Man it was tough on the new epoxy floor coating. Now I get to put another coat onto the floor.

I was able to get to the range yesterday afternoon and figure out the problems my Tanfo was having. It turns out that the best solution is to load the ammo to factory length and use the correct caliber magazines(go figure). I ordered a few mags this morning, since my internet was out at home and I didn't feel like screwing around on my phone for an hour trying to find the correct mags. Got a 2011 on the way to compare side by side with the Tanfo and see which one I want to keep as my USPSA Limited gun. I'm hoping to use my existing load data to speed up the process of working up a new factory-length load and hopefully test it this weekend.

Yesterday I ordered up the parts kit to build an AR 9 and picked up the lower locally. Listed another rifle for sale to clear way for this new project and help fund it. Took in another M&P last night for trigger work also, number 26 ! I could probably do these blindfolded and 1 arm behind my back now lol

although I can only load 8 rounds per magazine and a sh1t tons of reloads each stage, it can hold its own against other divisions :whip:

only reason that one kid edged me is because he is younger and chases cheetah for workouts. that is my excuse and I am sticking to it!

I've seen him run, so I believe you.... On the other hand, I believe they made a mistake in the "Lady" column for you. :cheer2:

I want a PS90 so bad. Have held one, felt like I was wrapping myself around it, which just felt right to me. Would love to have a range day with one.

Neighbor called me over, figuring he was wanting my help moving an ac unit or something of that sort, but instead showed me his new Glock 42 he picked up today. He bought it through his dept (police) and asked if I ever saw one before, which I have. Held it and dry fired it a couple times to appease him, the trigger felt heavy and long. I just so happen to have my xdm with the new PRP trigger in it with me in the truck so I pulled him outside and told him to squeeze his a few times and then squeeze mine (uhhhh....triggers). He couldnt believe how bad his was after. He'll be dropping his off to the dept armorer real soon for a trigger job, lol.
