Very much a savage fan. My Mark II TR-SR has produced nice groups out of the box with a heavy Boyds stock, from the factory. My Savage 93R17 BVSS shoots a little bit tighter.
They do a kids shoot, small bore, on the first and third Saturday's of each month, at Styx. You can borrow a rifle. They also get free ammo and targets and the range to themselves from 7-8. My kids really enjoy it.
