when the trigger resets it moves your finger forward making it look like multiple trigger pulls. plus id rather have the slower ROF for better accuracy
better way of making my point:

this is just military versions
Opinion but not Fact. in the last 114yrs the US has been through 6 different standard rifle patterns the RU has been through 3 the last of which has been the standard for 67yrs
my definition of jam is when it will not eject like its suppose to or by manual means. as to the reputation if you were to walk me into an armory and said pick and those 2 were my options id go with the AK every time.
I already said they had receiver issues in the original testing before it was adopted into service
