Dante you're making me want to spend money now.... I've been carrying a 229 legion and putting a lot of trigger time behind the 229 DAK but the 1911 still itch on me. I have a Professional that should be coming in in the next 3 months or so.

    ^ indeed. Off a rest.
A good shooter can replicate that at 7 yards offhand.

Okay I lied I don't love 1911s that ($3K) much. Just cheap dates $1+K worth. Lol. What is the distance used/marked on WC factory target test? Thanks.

nothing wrong with a $1k or less 1911. if I'm starting out and have $3k budget, I'd get a $800 1911, $600 on a Dillon, $1600 on reloading components :D. I'd rather shoot a one ragged hole group from a milspec 1911 than a $3k gun and birdshot groups. like the old saying "The BS stops when the hammer drops".

Once you step up to the WC, NH, EB world prepare to be underwhelmed by every other 1911 you ever thought was "nice". Other than that and the initial sticker shock its definitely worth it.

I told Steven to buy it, but he wouldn't listen. Oh well...
I've been buying these things for the last few years and THAT was the cheapest I had EVER seen a brand new 1911.

Its a WC gun at a LB price. Oh well, maybe one day when they are done playing with fart loads and timer.

Excellent choice! A full size steel gun with carry gun touches. I most highly approve.
    For what that's worth. Lol

    Yup. Best holster ever.
If you happen to not like the combo, I'm sure we can work something out

Just an update, I picked up my Tactical Carry Saturday from Kenny's Gun Room. All I can say is WOW. I love this thing, Shot 50 rounds through it at Kenny's, and will take it to the range this weekend to start breaking it in.
